Client Policy Agreement

Requirement

We require all Clients to accept and agree to our Client Policy Agreement. Some of these policies exist as they are mandated by our insurance, credit card processing company, or as methods to protect our staff and Clients. Walt's Jewelers reserves the right to modify/update our Policies.

In-Store Data and Information

Walt's Jewelers recognizes security and privacy as one of our primary responsibilities to ourselves and our Clients. With regard to data and information shared with Walt's Jewelers while at our in-store location we maintain control of such data and information at all times. We do not host services which house Client data on the internet or on any 3rd party server(s). We maintain control of all data to include backup(s).

Walt's Jewelers does not volunteer Client data or information with anyone outside of our employ.

Walt's Jewelers may respond to or use data and information our Clients have shared with select individuals or in a public forum. Walt's Jewelers may also respond to or use data and information related to us, our Clients, or our business, which any 3rd party may have shared with select individuals or in a public forum. We reserve the right to duplicate any data or information about Walt's Jewelers for archival purposes, for marketing purposes, or for operational purposes, to be used as we deem fit.

Website Privacy Policy

When using any computer system, especially a computer system connected to an external network, there is no expectation of privacy. As such, Walt's Jewelers strives to offer security as one of our primary responsibilities to ourselves and our Clients.

Walt's Jewelers uses Google and Facebook analytics tools which have their own privacy policies. Walt's Jewelers hosts our website on a hosting server not owned by Walt's Jewelers, and that host has their own privacy policies.

Return Policy

All returns are accepted or declined at the sole discretion of Walt’s Jewelers.

All returned purchases and/or deposits will have a 5% restocking fee.

Returns for refunds may be accepted up to 7 days after purchase. After 7 days from purchase, only in-store credits may be issued.

Refunds in the amount of $50.00 or less can usually be issued at the time of return. For refund amounts over $50.00, a check for the refund amount will be issued within 7 business days.

Refunds will not be issued back onto credit or debit cards. Refunds will only be issued as a check or in-store credit.

Items that have been altered, sized, damaged, or had stones set are subject to a fee equal to the cost of returning them to original stocked condition.

In-store credits are non-refundable.

Layaway Returns

Layaway items canceled within 3 business days of the original layaway date may be eligible for a refund or in-store credit. After 3 business days a 5% restocking fee will be assessed and the remaining credit will be issued in the form of an in-store credit. Any canceled layaway item(s) which are placed on layaway within 3 business days of any time of discount will immediately have a 5% restocking fee assessed and the remaining credit will be issued in the form of an in-store credit. Layaway items cannot extend into any time of discount without prior approval by Walt’s Jewelers.

Precedent

This Policy or Policies set(s) the precedent regarding all returns and layaways.

Terminology

Percentages are of the total transaction, to include taxes, shipping and handling, and any fees included in the total purchase amount.

Business Days are days in which Walt’s Jewelers is open. Unless stated all other days are normal calendar days.
